Working with young singers at the beginning of their operatic careers, Opera Explained offers musical presentations with Opera singers, piano accompanists and guest directors, which aim to help you understand the many layers of Opera and how they are composed and how the choices the composer has made fuels the story.

Often in Opera, you listen to performers singing arias, duets or ensembles in a different language, and although you may be enjoying the music, do you really know what the characters are singing about?  At Opera Explained, we will delve deep into the heart of the story and discover the different genres, themes and relationships that occur throughout.
